A 31-year-old Kaukauna man will spend 45 days in jail for a standoff in Neenah last September.
Winnebago County prosecutors say an argument between Eric VandenBoogard and his girlfriend’s son led to a shooting. Police believe the gun went off while they were struggling over it.
Jurors convicted VandenBoogard of two counts of disorderly conduct. They found him not guilty of reckless endangerment.
The standoff lasted for about 90 minutes at an apartment in the 600 block of Main Street.
