The Hortonville school district is trying to get more girls interested in computer science and STEM.
Computer Science Teacher Jodie Schmitt says they’re holding a workshop this afternoon for middle and high school girls. She says women already in technology careers will talk about coding and robotics.
The girls are getting hands-on computer experience, during the second part of the event.
Schmitt says it’s the first time they’ve ever put on this type of program.
