New London police say a 37-year-old man is in custody for an opioid overdose death.
Investigators believe Eric Stern of New London gave drugs to 26-year-old Shane Heuer. Heuer overdosed last October.
Police are asking Waupaca County prosecutors to charge Stern with first-degree reckless homicide.
