The only statewide race on tomorrow’s ballot is for supreme court justice and groups are hoping for higher voter turnout.
Chief Appeals Court Judge Lisa Neubauer is facing off against district two Appeals Court Judge Brian Hagedorn. The race is non-partisan but some liberal groups have shown support for Neubauer while some conservatives back Hagedorn.
Outagamie County Democratic Party Chair Lee Snodgrass says they’re going door-to-door to get more people to the polls. She says they want to focus on people who aren’t as consistent about getting out and voting.
Voter turnout in a supreme court election that doesn’t fall on a presidential primary is usually around 20 percent.
