Kidnapping survivor Elizabeth Smart is working on a TV special on the Jayme Closs case.
It’s going to be on the Lifetime network on April 27th.
Lifetime announced that Smart came to Wisconsin to talk with the people closest to Closs, and she uncovered new details.
Closs was kidnapped, and her parents were murdered, last October. The 13-year-old escaped after 88 days in captivity.
Smart’s special will also include a roundtable with six other kidnapping survivors.
Twenty-one-year-old Jake Patterson pleaded guilty to murder and kidnapping charges last week. He’s scheduled to be sentenced in May.
