Jurors say a man is guilty of driving drunk and killing two women in a train crash in Oshkosh.
Forty-seven-year-old Shawn Schettle of Oshkosh was convicted of eight felonies following a three-day trial in Winnebago County court.
Thirty-seven-year-old Emily Mueller and 43-year-old Jessica Roby lost their lives in the December 2017 wreck. Schettle ran away from the scene, near the corner of Washington Avenue and Broad Street, in the downtown area.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced in June.
The convictions include two counts each of homicide by driving drunk, and hit and run involving death.
