Appleton police are investigating a shooting on the city’s south side.
Officers went to the area of Prim Rose Lane off S. Oneida Street, just south of Highway 441, around 2 p.m.
Officer Meghan Cash says a man had a gunshot wound. She says he was taken to a hospital, and they believe the wound is not life-threatening.
Cash thinks the shooting was an isolated incident, and the community isn’t in danger. Officers are trying to track down a suspect.
