The Oshkosh common council is looking to fill a vacancy in its ranks.
The election of deputy mayor Lori Palmeri to mayor leaves her seat vacant after she is sworn in next week.
City manager Mark Rohloff says it will take little more than a month to fill that seat. He says they’ll hear presentations, and then vote.
Whomever the Oshkosh common council selects will serve out a term that ends in April of next year.
