Governor Evers is talking about potential tax increases to fix roads in his proposed state budget.
He thinks the idea might not be popular but there might not be a better option. He says road tolls have been brought up, but either way it’s a user fee.
Many Republicans have said they’re against any tax increases. Evers says when it comes to improving roads in the state they might see things differently.
