A Green Bay police narcotics and tracking dog is hospitalized after being stabbed by a suspect last night on the city’s west side.
Officers and K-9 Pyro were called to the 1300 block of Western Avenue around 8:15 p.m. for a report of a man with a gun.
Police surrounded a house and a man eventually came out.
During the arrest Pyro bit the suspect and was then stabbed.
Police haven’t released the condition of the dog.
The suspect is in custody.
