The suspect in an Oshkosh shooting is facing a trial.
Twenty-year-old Kyle Wiegand of Appleton is accused of shooting a 28-year-old man last month, because of a borrowed car. He was in Winnebago County court this morning for a preliminary hearing.
Prosecutors say the victim was inside his home, in the 500 block of Grand Street, on the northeast side on March 24th. They say 25-year-old Clea Bowden of Greenville was mad at the victim, for using a car longer than he had expected.
The man survived.
Bowden’s case is on hold for now, while the public defender’s office tries to find an attorney for her.
Wiegand and Bowden are both charged with attempted murder.
