Highway crews in northeast Wisconsin are starting to pick up trash that was covered by snow.
Norm Scray has worked for the Brown County Highway Department for about 29 years. He says a lot of it blows off of recycling trucks or people throw garbage out the window. Scray says they need to pick it up before they start cutting grass and things get worse.
Scray says he’s found some interesting items over the years and even things connected to crimes.
He hopes drivers will think twice before throwing trash out the window because someone has to clean it up.
