More people think Governor Evers is sincerely trying to reach across the aisle, compared to Majority Republicans in the Legislature.
That’s the finding of a poll by the Marquette Law School.
Poll Director Charles Franklin says 48 percent believe Evers wants to work with GOP lawmakers, and 37 percent think he doesn’t. Only 25 percent say Republican leaders are sincerely trying to cooperate, and 57 percent believe they aren’t.
Franklin believes Evers has a clear advantage in the battle of “who’s trying to get along, and who’s trying to obstruct.”
Franklin was on Fresh Take with Josh Dukelow on WHBY this morning.
