A man convicted in a deadly drunk driving crash in Waupaca County is going to prison for five years.
Forty-seven-year-old Michael Pribbernow entered Alford pleas in April to charges of hit-and-run causing death, and his third drunk driving offense. That means he didn’t admit he’s guilty, but he realizes there’s enough evidence for a conviction.
Eighteen-year-old Tim Cruse was killed last July while he was walking along a road in the Town of Farmington.
Pribbernow will also serve five years on probation, after he’s released from prison.
