An airline is giving some people another option to get to EAA AirVenture through Appleton International Airport.
Elite Airways will run temporary non-stop flights in July, to and from Fort Worth, Texas, Melbourne, Florida, and Portland, Maine.
Airport Director Abe Weber says they’ll work with the airline and EAA organizers to help fill the flights. He hopes they can build a new partnership with Elite Airways.
Flights will run between July 22nd and July 28th.
Weber says Elite Airways is based in Portland, Maine, and the airline hasn’t flown into Appleton International Airport before.
