The former St. Aloysius Church and school on Kaukauna’s south side is coming down.
Workers already started the demolition, to make way for single-family homes and duplexes.
City Planning Director Bob Jakel expects the buildings will be gone in the next two to three weeks. He says a developer will then come in to do utility work for the project. They’ll also split the nine-acre site with a new street.
Jakel believes the lots will be desirable, because of the location near a school and the CE Trail.
