State dairy leaders, UW-Madison, and the government are working together to research new ways to bottle and make dairy drinks.
Governor Tony Evers says the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will invest $750,000 in the project. He says it’ll establish a new center for research on the UW-Madison campus.
The goal of the project is to create a new technology for dairy drinks that don’t require refrigeration.
The Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin is also contributing $250,000.
