A stretch of Morrison Street in downtown Appleton could become a two-way street soon.
The city’s municipal services committee is on board with the plans. The change would cover three blocks north of College Avenue.
Traffic Engineer Eric Lom says along with Appleton Street it would give drivers more options to head south.
None of the parking spots along Morrison Street would change. The city is also looking to convert a one-block stretch of Harris Street into a two-way. That block is in the same area between Morrison and Oneida streets.
The city council could take up the plans next month.
