A report shows air quality in the Fox Valley region is better than average.
The American Lung Association is giving Outagamie County a “B” for ozone levels and a “C” for Brown County. Both counties also got an “A” for particle pollution.
Spokeswoman Dona Wininsky says they don’t have grades for Winnebago and Calumet counties. She says there aren’t monitors for pollution in those counties. She says since they’re close to Outagamie and Brown counties, their air quality is most likely similar.
The Lung Association is issuing its 20th annual “State of the Air” report. Wininsky says conditions in northeast Wisconsin are much better compared to years ago.
