Some people in a Fond du Lac neighborhood are upset about the noise at a home that’s regularly rented out.
The house in the Overland Heights neighborhood is listed as a vacation rental online. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department gave tickets to 10 teens on Sunday for underage drinking. It’s the sixth time deputies went to the home in the past several months.
Home Association President Tom Kirchhoff hopes to find a compromise with the homeowner. He wants it to be done in moderation that’s appropriate for the neighborhood.
There aren’t any local rules in place preventing the homeowner from offering it as a rental.
