A pilot survived a plane crash in a farm field south of Pickett.
Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies say the plane went down off Triangle Road in the Town of Rosendale early yesterday afternoon. They say 70-year-old Gary Dornfeld of Suamico was flying from Pulaski to Juneau when he ran into problems with turbulence or wind. He was able to get out of the plane and he had some minor injuries.
Dornfeld was checked out at a Ripon hospital.
