Oshkosh police are trying to track down the owner of an injured dog that was found on the city’s north side last week.
Officer Kate Mann says they think the dog is from the Omro area. It was limping, around Jackson Street and Smith Avenue, on April 30th.
Mann says the dog’s leg was severely broken, and the leg had to be amputated. She says the dog also had injuries that were caused by some sort of gun.
They’re trying to find the dog’s owner and figure out what happened.
