Mabel Murphy’s in downtown Oshkosh may rise from the ashes.
Owner Stephen Vadnais posted on the bar’s Facebook page that he and his family are looking at options to rebuild. A fire destroyed the landmark bar yesterday.
Vadnais adds that there are still “details to work out,” and he’s not sure if the new bar would go on the corner of N. Main Street and Irving Avenue.
The fire started in the building next door and spread to the bar. Investigators are looking for the cause.
