A Shawano man is accused of going to the police department to claim a backpack with meth in it, after he left it at the Shawano County Library.
Shawano County prosecutors say 31-year-old Joel Mullin-Romo claims he took the drugs from his ex-girlfriend’s purse, because he was investigating her. Mullin-Romo also reportedly told police he went to Green Bay police about the woman’s drug activity, but he had to take matters into his own hands.
A library staffer found the backpack on Monday. Prosecutors say there were three small bags of meth inside, along with nun chucks.
