A new coffee shop in Grand Chute will also feature cats that can be adopted.
Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay is adding a new location to keep cats and including the coffee shop.
Founder Elizabeth Feldhausen says the Grand Chute business will be called the Pawffee Shop Cat Cafe. She says it will be like side-by-side businesses with a glass wall in between so people can see the cats while they get coffee.
There are about 40 cats at the sanctuary in Green Bay and Feldhausen says she’s running out of room. Some of the money made at the cafe will help with the medical costs of animals at Safe Haven. She hopes to open the new business on North Casaloma Drive by mid-July.
