A severely injured dog is recovering with a family in Oshkosh.
Anna was found at a Kwik Trip near the corner of Jackson Street and Smith Avenue more than a week ago. Her leg was broken and she also had injuries caused by a gun. Her leg had to be amputated.
Oshkosh Area Humane Society Executive Director Joni Geiger says Anna is doing well now. She says a foster family will help her find a forever home. She says they can learn things like if she’s house trained, or if she’s good with children.
Anna still has to heal a little more before she can be adopted. Police are looking for any information about how she got hurt.
