The co-founder of the Mile of Music festival says they can’t please everyone with the list of artists that return to downtown Appleton.
It’s the seventh annual event and about 700 acts have already played for it over the years.
Co-founder Dave Willems was a guest on AM Fox Valley on WHBY. He says they’re planning on having about 200 artists again this year.
Willems says for new artists they capped the number of submissions at 300 this year. He says they also get referrals from agents and artists that have played at the festival…and know another band.
