Ashwaubenon Police say they arrested a 45-year-old woman in connection to a cat found taped in a box in a dumpster.
Officers say a man heard meowing and thought a cat got stuck. They say the man dug through the dumpster and found a box taped heavily with packaging tape. They say he opened the box and found a cat inside. It had a microchip and was adopted a few months ago from the Bay Area Humane Society.
Investigators say officers arrested Elizabeth Bartlett at an apartment on Viking Drive. She faces five misdemeanor charges related to animal cruelty and abandonment.
