Students at local high schools are learning about solar energy at an annual competition.
Wisconsin Public Service hosted the 23rd Solar Olympics competition yesterday in Oshkosh.
Spokesman Matt Cullen says there are 14 events. He says those include things like race cars, cookers, and machines.
Cullen says they also have solar energy inspired events like photography, building design, and trivia. He says the competition is a way for students to improve their skills and be creative.
