Trucks and squad cars from dozens of fire and law enforcement departments across Wisconsin escorted the body of Firefighter Mitch Lundgaard.
The processional of emergency vehicles brought Lundgaard’s flag-draped coffin back from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office.
Green Bay Firefighter Josh Fink appreciated seeing thousands along the route in downtown Appleton. He thinks it’s tragic to lose someone who was helping people in the community, and to see the support is awesome.
The processional ended at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel on N. Oneida Street.
