Many drivers on I-41 south of Appleton took notice of a tribute from Pierce Manufacturing.
The fire-truck maker put together a big display outside its production plant for Firefighter Mitch Lundgaard’s procession.
Spokesman Sam Lowe says they had two fire truck ladders hold up the American Flag outside their plant.
He says they also turned on all of the lights of their fire trucks that were parked by the frontage road along I-41.
