Menasha police are recommending several charges against a 35-year-old man, after a standoff this week.
Officer Nick Oleszak says Christopher Walsh accused the mother of his child with trying to poison their 15-month-old daughter. He says the 39-year-old Neenah woman told police he went into a bedroom, and came out with a gun. He says Walsh never aimed the gun at the child or the mother, and he told the mother he was prepared to shoot it out with police, if they showed up at the home.
Oleszak says police were called to the home in the 800 block of Fifth Street, around midnight on Wednesday.
He says police are asking prosecutors to charge Walsh with reckless endangerment, domestic disorderly conduct, and refusing to comply with police.
