An Arthritis Walk is focusing on younger people with the disease this year.
Mira Leurquin spoke at today’s event in Allouez about her experience with juvenile arthritis.
Doctors diagnosed her two years ago after a surgery. She says she wasn’t healing properly, and was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis.
About six-thousand children in the state live with the disease. Leurquin hopes she can make a difference by sharing her story and teaching more people about arthritis.
