A video of cats high-fiving at the Oshkosh Area Humane Society is the winner of a national contest.
Greatergood.org asked organizations to train cats and then post videos for National High-five Day. The humane society’s featured several cats high-fiving workers and getting a treat.
Cari Tetzlaff says they had a month to show the cats how to do it. She says several cats they taught to high-five got adopted before they got in the video. She says they also taught some cats that had been in the shelter a while to bring some attention to them.
The humane society won an online vote and a $5,000 grant.
