Green Bay police say a man who drove into the East River this morning fell asleep at the wheel.
Officers were called to Irwin Avenue and Baird Street around 2:30 a.m.
They say the 25-year-old Green Bay man was on his way home from work.
He was able to climb out of the car on his own and police threw him a rope and pulled him out of the river.
He wasn’t seriously hurt.
