Clintonville could have a new rule soon banning smoking at some outdoor events.
City Administrator Sharon Eveland got the idea when she saw people smoking at a family-friendly activity. She says they don’t want to ban smoking altogether, and she hopes people don’t take it that way. She says it’s just about protecting family-focused outdoor city-sponsored events.
It will be up to the city council to decide how much the fine should be.
