Outagamie County’s district attorney and Appleton police are holding a press conference Thursday afternoon on last month’s shooting, near the city’s downtown transit center.
D.A. Melinda Tempelis and Chief Todd Thomas are planning to make statements and answer some questions.
Firefighter Mitch Lundgaard was killed while he was on a medical call.
Police have said the suspected shooter was having a seizure, and officers later fired at 47-year-old Ruben Houston of Wausau, because he had a gun. Houston was killed by police.
Police Officer Paul Christensen and 30-year-old bystander Brittany Schowalter were also shot. They were treated at a hospital.
