Another Wisconsin university won’t require applicants to submit ACT or SAT test scores.
Marquette University in Milwaukee is the latest school to make submitting either test score optional.
Lawrence University made that decision in 2006.
Dean of Admission at the downtown Appleton school, Ken Anselment believes more universities are looking at what classes students are taking.
He says still, about three-quarters of those who apply to Lawrence do submit scores from one of those tests.
Studies show the tests can be a disadvantage for low income or minority groups.
