A Greenville company that makes robotic systems is expanding.
QComp is in the town’s industrial park north of Highway 96.
Executive Vice President Mark Wild says more companies with cheese, dairy, and food products want to use the technology. He says robotics could be used to unload pallets, and feed them onto a processing line. He says the technology could also cut and process products.
The company broke ground on a 10,000 square-foot expansion of its plant last week. The project should be finished this fall.
