Lawmakers in the Assembly could vote today on some proposed rules for electric scooters on sidewalks and streets.
Riders of scooters that weigh less than 100 pounds would have to follow a 15 mile-an-hour speed limit.
Local governments could set their own rules for streets that have a speed limit of more than 25 miles an hour.
The Senate passed the bill earlier this month.
