It’s the first day of summer and there’s still a very small amount of snow left inside a downtown Appleton parking ramp.
The snow piles up in a spot in the Yellow Ramp along Morrison Street.
City spokesman Chad Doran doesn’t think it will make it through the weekend. He says it’s gaining attention. He says people shared it on social media, and it’s taken off like it did last year as well.
The Weather Channel also reported on the pile. Last year the snow lasted until July 9th. That was after the record blizzard in April. This year the spring was cooler than normal.
