There are plans to revamp the former City Hall in downtown Menasha.
The city has a deal to sell the building on Main Street for $100,000.
Community Development Director Sam Schroeder says they hope to close in the coming weeks. He says the developers could have retail space or a restaurant on the first floor and put offices on the top two stories. He believes they’ll remodel the exterior of the front of the building.
The city moved its offices down the street to a building that it shares with Menasha School District administrators.
The former City Hall was on the market for about a year-and-a-half. One of the developers is based in Neenah but three of the firms that are involved are from around the U.S.
