Prosecutors say a 39-year-old man charged with hurting three children in a crash was drinking while he was driving.
Gustavus Dalton of Green Bay is facing two counts of causing injury while driving drunk and his fourth OWI offense. Outagamie County Sheriff’s deputies say he ran a stop sign at Highways C and EE in the Town of Oneida Monday night. A six-year-old girl and a four-year-old girl were flown by helicopter to a hospital.
A three-year-old girl was treated at the scene. Two of the girls are Dalton’s daughters and he’s a guardian of the other.
