A top Republican in the state thinks there’s a good chance Governor Evers will sign the proposed budget.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says they tried to consider both sides. He says they listened to what Evers wanted and tried to find some middle ground.
Evers has until Friday to decide to either sign the budget or veto part or all of the document.
Vos and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald have asked Evers not to throw away the entire plan.
