The developers looking to bring new businesses to the Aviation Plaza site in Oshkosh are looking for $1.7 million in City assistance.
Plans call for construction of a new Mineshaft Restaurant, a custom car garage and remodeling of the existing Rogans Shoes at the Aviation Plaza site along Koeller Street. Analytics consultant Tim Ness says Mineshaft owner Dan Masters plans a very aggressive repayment plan for the tax incremental financing.
The Mineshaft will go on the site of the former Walmart—while the custom auto shop would fill the former Miles Kimball store. The Oshkosh Common Council will vote on creating the TIF district next month.
