A Sheboygan man is claiming a $5.9 million Megabucks jackpot.
Matthew Neal came forward just days before the July 15th deadline. He won the top prize in the January 16th drawing.
Neal bought the ticket at a Kwik Trip on S. Taylor Drive.
It’s the largest Megabucks jackpot since 2015.
There were two winners in last Saturday’s Badger 5 drawing, and one of the tickets was sold in Appleton. The ticket from Festival Foods on Northland Avenue is worth nearly $67,000. The other one was sold in Trevor, in southeast Wisconsin.
