A new state law is cracking down on child pornography.
Senator Andre Jacque says suspects were getting away with having pictures of a child posing in a sexually suggestive way while wearing transparent clothing.
The De Pere Republican says Brown County investigators wanted to close the loophole. He says they’re trying to get one step ahead of the bad guys. He thinks this will be a good tool for investigators, and will make sure criminals are held accountable.
Governor Evers signed the bill yesterday.
