The sale of the SECURA Insurance headquarters on Appleton’s south side to Fleet Farm means a major property in the city won’t be empty.
Mayor Tim Hanna says it’s also great that the two companies are staying in the area. He believes it sends a positive message that the Fox Cities is a good place to do business.
Hanna thinks the sale is a sign of the strong market for office space in the area.
SECURA is building a new headquarters along Highway CB in Fox Crossing. The company plans to start moving in later this year.
Fleet Farm is looking to consolidate six offices into the building on S. Memorial Drive. About 500 people are expected to work there.
