Three local nonprofits are receiving matching grants from the Green Bay Packers Foundation.
Freedom House Director Nicole Schneider says they want to use the $250,000 to build a new facility for homeless families. She says they hope to build it by November, and it’ll house 60 families.
Give Big Green Bay and Habitat for Humanity also got $250,000 matching grants. It’s the seventh year the Packers Foundation is focusing on helping local nonprofits.
