Over 1,800 volleyball teams from all 50 states and eight different countries are converging on Oshkosh this weekend.
Waupaca Boatride tournament organizer Tom Galecke calls it the largest outdoor volleyball tournament in the nation. He says they started yesterday with a junior kids clinic, with four-time Olympian and Gold Medalist Lloy Ball.
The teams range from beginner to professional, and they’ll play on about 300 courts.
The tournament is at Brighton Acres, south of Ford Festival Park. It’s the 34th year of the free event, and Galecke says they’ll have music and food.
